of two contiguous units that can be
separated, and with independent entrances.
The property is very quiet and is the only
one overlookingthe most beautiful park of
Bologna and the hills. It is like a luxury villa
among the clouds where you feel as if you
were on vacation even when you are in the
city. The charm of the apartment is
increased by the presence of two terraces;
the first one has 150 m2 and overlooks the
secular park, and the second one has 84

into a safe area near all the services:
cr่che, schools, shopping centers, post
offices, banks.
The neighborhood is exclusive not only

Casalecchio di Reno and the park of the
Chiusa (Dam)
The small neighborhood of Casalecchio di
Reno, located at the foot of a hill, takes the
name of the Park and is formed by the
streets Panoramica, Enrico Fermi and
Francesco Baracca, by the alley of dei Santi
and by the small square J.F. Kennedy. It is
one of the most celebrated and prestigious
neighborhoods of Bologna and the
surroundings.
The park, with more than one hundred
hectares of extension- which official name is
`park of the Chiusa (Dam)`because
occupies the right shore of the Reno River
at the point where the impressive Dam of
the river is located, the oldest still
operational work of hydraulic mechanics of
the world which first records date back to
the year one thousand and that has been
even declared a `peace monument` by
UNESCO- is a protected natural oasis,
habitat of many rare animal species, and
also destination of the Sunday walks of
families in Bologna, and of lovers of nature
and open-air sports. It is located at the foot
of the hills of the San Luca Basilica, starting
point of countless walks and processions
that from the Park, follow a famous and
historic pedestrian path called `I Bregoli,
giungono al Santuario cosํ caro ai
bolognesi.`
Located in the limit between Bologna and
Casalecchio di Reno and currently
belonging to the municipality, the area used
to be the secular park that belonged to the
famous Villa Sampieri-Talon, named in
honor to the last marquesses that owned it.
It was built in the XVIII century as part of a
project of the school of Bibiena, famous
architect and scenographer of that time, and
has received many important people such
as Gioacchino Rossini,Gaetano
Donizetti,and Stendhal, assiduous visitor of
the park that used to compare it with the
Bois de Boulogne in Paris. The town was
occupied by a German commando and
unfortunately destroyed during the bombing
of World War II that only left some
suggestive ruins which are undergoing
restoration.
Casalecchio di Reno, town already
inhabited by the Villanovan people, by the
Etrurians and the Gaul, was in a time a
summer resort in the river for wealthy
families of Bologna; it has been absorbed
during the expansion of the capital city,
which has actually joined. Crossed by the
Reno River, it is a strategic road junction in
the heart of one of the richest and most
developed areas of Europe. It is the fourth
industrial pole of the province, one of the
most important trade platforms of the region
because of the presence of many major
trade centers of the Bologna belt. There we
can find the new Sport Palace, a theater, a
multi-screen cinema, sports centers of all
kinds and schools up to the secondary
level. It shares, with the bordering capital
city, the tradition of industriousness along
with that of a nice life style and cooking.
The Unipol Arena is one of the biggest
indoor multipurpose sports centers in Italy,
located in Casalecchio di Reno. The
stadium is provided of 8,650 fixed seats.
The Arena can house Conventions,
Congresses, Contests, Musical Shows and
Plays, Sports Events, Gala Nights,
Exhibition Reviews, Art Exhibitions and
Training Courses.
